Optics from Design to Delivery

Optical Design

We specialize in complex multi-surface freeform design for 3D printable optics. Our classical design expertise is enhanced by extensive knowledge in wave optical simulation, diffractive elements, freeform holograms, optimization algorithms, tolerancing, and more.

Structural Design

To transform an optical design into a manufacturable system, a structure surrounding the optically active parts is necessary. We tailor this structure to meet your specific requirements, keeping the distinctive characteristics of the 3D-printing process in mind.

Process Optimization

With over 10 years of experience in the process, we tweak and optimize manufacturing parameters to ensure that the optical performance of the design is fully realized in the finished product.

Fabrication

Our fabrication process allows for printing the designed and optimized model on various substrates, including glass slides, image sensors, fiber tips, LEDs and many more. We offer flexibility in substrate alteration to suit your requirements, or we can provide just the printed component without a substrate.

Characterization

Following the printing of the optimized micro-optic, we measure the surfaces and assess the optical performance to ensure it aligns with the design specifications and meets your exact requirements.
